Type: Terrestrial, burrower

 

Temperament: Calm and docile

 

Housing: Use a terrarium that will alow at least 10 centimetres of substrate.

 

Retreat/hide: Use about 8 centimetres of peat moss. Place a bark for a starter burrow/hide, this is a opportunistic burrower.

 

Water requirements: A shallow water dish and/or weekly water spray.

 

Diet: Crickets, roaches

 

Comments: A beautiful display tarantula, very popular with beginners due to their calm nature.
